- Five-year-old Keasten Mauk, left, lays a board across some steps to create a ramp at Whitesburg’s skate park, while his father, Josh Winskey, watches. Winskey brings Mauk to the skate park three to four times per week. “It’s (BMX-ing is) something that I can actually do,” said Winskey. “It’s the only thing to do (in this town), and I’m glad because it’s the thing I do.” Winskey said that he likes being at the skate park with his son because it makes for good bonding time.
